When I saw the art cover I was not really expecting too much but it was a GREAT READ. She is so different and funny I kept loling while I should have been sleeping I got in trouble...But it was worth it and the other 5-8 times I reread it again. Really funny...Yea read it

Can't believe that I didn't post about it earlier.

RYU Geum Chel - Ares

Ares - RYU Geum Chel

I'm like going through the whole list at MangaTraders...yea...I kinda want to read everything from there, through with the whole community uploading new manga everyday I don't think I can get through the whole list, which is a pretty good thing though...

This Manga is a Manhwa, NOT A MANGA.

Ares enters a guild of mercenaries and meets new friends, Michael, and Baroona. I don't want to explain their past here because then it won't be as fun to read...so that's all I will be telling you...They are all runing towards something and away from something. I'm not done with the series but so far it has kept my interests. War, princes, slaves and venagence for one's only master/father like figure...

The style is pretty rough and simple, but it's still pretty good. And the story is great too, not just all about adventures, there are stuff on politics and war.

Ryoji Minagawa - Project Arms

From Manga Traders
Ryo Takatsuki, a normal high-school student, does not realize that he was implanted with nanomachines to replace his severed arm, not until the implant begins to awaken to form a weapon called ARMS. After meeting his fellow comrades who also possess similar ARMS, he starts on a journey to fight Egrigori, the organization who has used him as a guinea pig and is now out to recapture him and his friends. Along the way he makes new allies and enemies, and must also come to terms with the being inside of him.
Great manga, and then after you think its over it the next chapter begins! The art work isn't really to my taste because the characters aren't all eye candy, but story wise this is really good. I love to watch their development plus also the manga is very romantic in style and echos Frankenstein but more modern. It is really scary...you never know this could be happening right now...yep...Anyway I also liked how the tied in the story Alice in Wonderland, which is one of my favorite books. That guy was so high on crack...wish I could be Alice and go on her adventures. Which also remind me that next year? a new Alice in Wonderland will be out with Johnny Depp as the Mad hatter, which is my fav character hehehe ^^ and directed by Tim Burton!!! I love all his moviessssss!

Then when I was looking for pictures I found this video. Really kool, the bunny looks like a Pokemon tho...

Shinobu Kaitani - Liar Game

Liar Game by Shinobu Kaitani

From Null:
Congratulations! You are one of the 1 in 100,000 people who has been entered in the amazing LIAR GAME TOURNAMENT!

Along with the postcard there are 100 million yen in notes. That's the beginning of the Liar Game. When the game ends, in 30 days, you will have to return your 100 million. If your opponent steals them, he can keep them as a prize, and you will have a debt of 100 million...
I am so in love with this one. Its not the usual stuff where most people can think of an make. Its a lot of brain twisters, which reminds me of deathnote which I just loveeee so much. I loved Light until he begged for his life.

Hiroya Oku - Gantz

Gantz by Hiroya Oku

From Mangaupdates
Somewhere in Tokyo, there is a room. In that room is a black sphere. Periodically, people who should otherwise have died are transferred to the room. There, the sphere gives them special suits and weapons, and sends them out on a mission to kill aliens here on Earth. While these missions take place, the rest of the world is largely oblivious to them. These missions are lethal--few participants survive them. The sphere calls the shots, and it's not the slightest bit nice. Its name... Gantz.
This is the crazyest shit I have ever read-well maybe not so true...but still this is pretty like woah WTF! But it is awsum, but now I'm thinking WTF because it started out with aliens and now its like nuclear war? So I'm confused...THIS MANGA IS NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED! VERY GRAPHICAL SEX AND VIOLENCE WARNING!!!! But I love and and am waiting to see what happens next *smiles sweetly*

Tachibana Higuchi - Gakuen Alice

Gakuen Alice by Tachibana Higuchi

From Tokyopop:
Young Mikan runs away to Tokyo to follow her best friend, Hotaru, who has been enrolled in an exclusive, secretive private school for geniuses. But it turns out that Alice Academy is a lot more than meets the eye. If Mikan wants to stay by Hotaru's side, she has to both pass the strange "entrance exam" and face the even greater challenge of befriending her very odd new classmates. Whether it's Hotaru's gift for inventing gadgets, the cranky Natsume's fire-casting ability, or Professor Narumi's control of human pheromones, everyone at the school has some sort of special talent. But what ability, if any, does Mikan possess? Mikan is going to have to rely on her courage and spunk if she's going to stay in school, or even stay alive!
When I saw the picture they had on mangaupdates, I thought it looked stupid artwise and thought it would be one of those kiddy girly things. But it isn't like that and its pretty kool.

Nicky Lee - The One

It's a Manhua not Manga but I don't want another label...so it's a manga ok?!

The fashion industry is beautiful and Cane Lele was born right into the middle of it. Her parents where both models until they died in a plane crash. Now living with her grandmother, she finally decides to enter the modeling field after years of persuasion by her aunt who is a fashion agent. She had fallen for a black and white photo of Angus Lanson and wanted to be in the same industry. However during a photo shoot her grandmother dies and gaining courage from Angus's brother they begin to be of importance to each other. Meeting up again in New York, where will all this lead?

I saw this manga a loooooong time ago, but never when to read it. I had no idea why...But one day I was really bored and decided to read it...and OMG it was amazing. I loved the art, so pretty! And the clothes are really nice too. And the story reminds me of Skip Beat they are pretty different, in a good way of course! I love her character, so strong...and sometimes childish...Plus I love Eros Lanson...what a happy bum...hehehe

Aya Nakahara - Lovely Complex

Lovely Complex/Love Com/Rabu Kon/Lovely Complex Plus - Aya Nakahara

Most girls like guys who are taller than they are and most guys look for girls that are shorter than they are. Well this a problem for Risa Koizumi and Atsushi Otani. Even though they like the same things, react the same way and the compatibility machine told them they are 100% compatible for each other, Risa is 172 cm (5'7") and Atsushi is 156 cm (5'1"). They always make fun of each other for their height complex and what do they do with the feelings that are growing for each other?!

A funny and cute manga. Risa and Atsushi make a cute couple and she is not annoying. I have romantic mangas and the main character is some little ittle girlie girl. Pisses me off, she is a normal girl and even though Atsushi is short, he can be really manly. So it's a different kind of romance manga. Very refreshing.

Takashi Hashiguchi - Yakitate!! Japan

Azuma Kazuma hopes to make the bread that will be able to represent Japan. He use to hate bread and though that as a Japanese one should only eat rice, but fell in love with bread once he had a taste. To convince his grandfather to eat bread he was taught that with the right ingredients he could make bread go with any kind of meal. This is his jonery to make JAPAN (pan is bread...so japan...get it?)

This was actually the first manga I ever read. I was 12? or 11? Either way I loved this manga and since I didn't have my own coputer back then I had to beg this big brother to let me read it on his...well he got me addicted to it, and there was another manga I was reading...but I kinda forgot the name...Anyway it's all about making bread, and you can learn a lot of stuff from the manga, like the history of bread. It was really good in the beginning but it started to get really stupid later on. In the begnning it was kinda believe able to an extend but then we have people dieing and coming back to life (which I was ok with), people going back in time to save their parent (which I was also ok with), and people turning into dams and turtles (which I thought was just plain stupid...). So I kinda stopped reading it for awhile, but I will still finish it when it is complete but I will never read it again because it got so bad...But it gave me lots of laughs so its still really good^^

FUJISAKI Masato - Wild Life

Wild Life - Masato Fujisaki

Iwashiro Tesshou was a useless person who did nothing worth mentioning but had a special skill of having a perfect sense of hearing. One day he saved a dog and began to care for it and found that it had an illness. From then he found his love for life and animals and became a vet.

Currently incomplete but it is pretty good so far. He is someone who is not just book smart and has the passion for his job, making it entertaining to read.

KUBO Tite - Bleach

I'm really bored right now...So I decided to write reviews about all the manga's I've read so far...This will take forever...So until I have something better to do...here we go

Bleach - Tite Kubo

Looks so cool hehehe

Seeing spirits are kinda kool. But it can get awhile to get use to, and for Ichigo Kurosaki who has been able to see them his whole life is normal. He meets a shinigami named Rukia Kuchiki who came from soul society to deal with negative spirits called hallows. Hallows eat things with high spirit concentrations. Rukia gets injured and he barrows her power to protect his family and saves them. However he accidentally drained her powers and his life as a shinigami begins!

It isn't complete yet and it gets better as time passes. I can't wait for the rest of the manga!! And there is lots of fighting ^^

MATSUEI Yuusei - Demonic Detective Nougami Neuro

It starts when Yako's father dies and the demon Neuro arrived to the surface. He is a demon that eats "puzzles", or mysteries. He takes Yako as his doll and uses her to get more meals while searching for the "ultimate" puzzle. It is like Detective Conan but the art style is more refined and has more of a plot...? I like this manga better because it involves the character's more and the cases are part of a bigger picture. Where in Detective Conan the characters do not develop as much but the cases are more complex. It gets more bloody as the manga progresses.

I really like this manga, even though I was reading it all at one time I never got sick of it. When I tried to read DC I would start to get bored because it's always they go somewhere and there happens to be a case. Rinse and repeat, but this manga goes somewhere...so I guess I prefer the plot and pace of this manga. Plus I got attached to the characters and cried a little...

Toshiaki Iwashiro - Psyren

Psyren is one of the mangas of the week on Mangatraders! The other manga is called Zero, which I think I tried to read in the past. I was wondering why I stopped and after 5 pages I stopped reading it. I have read comments from people in the Mangatraders forum and people like the manga...so I think its just me...but this is MY blog so...yea...

Anyway I really love this manga right now, currently there is only 7 volumes and its ongoing...I will die from the wait. GRRRR!

Psyren

From Mangatraders:
Yoshina Ageha is a high school student who offers to help people with their problems for 10,000 yen. He'll take care of your stalkers, find your lost animal, whatever you want. One day when he's heading home, a nearby pay phone rings, and he picks it up. The only thing he hears however is his own voice echoing. After finding a mysterious card with the word 'Psyren' printed on it, his life suddenly changes as he is drawn into a crazy new world.
So its mainly about these people who was forced into this "world", where the game is to stay alive in the "world" which is full of runins of buildings and sand. The characters learn more about the "game" and that their actions can have a huge affect in the future, because the "world" they were transported to through the Psyren card takes them to 10 years into the future. Also after staying in the future, they get a "disease" from the future becuase a metor came to Earth and messed up the air. Thie "disease" makes you feverish and gives you a nose bleed that like never stops bleeding. However afterwards you get a "gift".

Anyway enjoy. I am soooo pissed there is currently ONLY 7 volumes!

Ai Morinaga-My Barbaric Girlfriend and Poor Prince Tarou

This is THE FUNNIEST MANGA EVER!!! I love MORINAGA Ai who comes up with the weirdest plots. But they are really funny to a little too weird for some. I love her.

Boku to Kanojo no XXX/My Barbaric Girlfriend by Ai Morinaga

From Tokyopop:
Rude girl and effeminate boy switch bodies and find that it might be a better fit for both of them. Lots of crazy comedy. Nanako Momoi is the belle of high school... as long as she stays quiet. Once she shows her true self, guys' dreams are shattered for she is a true tomboy. Akira Uehara has the looks and brains, but, unfortunately, his personality is so dull it overcasts a shadow, and nobody notices him. One day, Nanako's grandfather comes up with a crazy invention, and Nanako and Akira trade personalities! She's he, and he's she!
This is a favorite of mine and have been on it for years. Because it was dropped for awhile, but it is now being continued and then after 189 days there are new scans ^^ YAY!!

Another manga by the same person that I love but is currently on hold becuase there hasn't been anynew scans is

Yamada Tarou Monogatari/Poor Prince Tarou

From Kagami:
With their father going away for an extended time without any warnings whatsoever, the Yamadas have to get by on their own, and Tarou, the eldest son, carries the biggest burden of all: supporting their large family. Of course, Tarou's money problem is overshadowed by his appearance, as many girls (and GUYS) trample all over each other to get his attention. Experience the joys and tears of being poor AND beautiful while reading this manga.

So pretty much everyone thinks he is rich but he is very poor. He can do everyting becuase he takes many jobs to provide for his family. And because he is just soooo awsum, he turns a guy gay...Very very funny

Also new chapters of Liar Game (also at mangatraders)

The new mangas I picked up while waiting for the new chapters are Kekkaishi and Captive Hearts.

Kekkaishi by By Yellow Tanabe

By night, junior high student Yoshimori Sumimura is a "kekkaishi"--a demon-hunter who specializes in creating magical barriers around his prey. By day, Yoshimori's got some other demons to battle: an addiction to sweets and a seriously crotchety grandfather! Yoshimori's pretty 16-year-old neighbor and childhood friend, Tokine Yukimura, is also a kekkaishi, but their families are feuding over who is the true practitioner of the art.

From Mangatraders
Captive Hearts By Matsuri Hino

Kuroishi Megumi is a young man imprisoned by a curse handed down to him from his ancestors, obliging him to serve in the household of the Kougami family.

However, the Kougami family disappeared years ago and Megumi has been enjoying the fruits of their wealth... at least, until his father shocks him with the news that he has found the family and intends to bring them home, ending Megumi's lazy life of luxury and relaxation.

Yoshiki Nakamura - Skip Beat!

After explaining manga, here's my current reading list that I rated as a 10:

Skip Beat! by Yoshiki Nakamura, who also made Tokyo Crazy Paradise.

From Manga Trader:
Kyoko Mogami is the childhood friend of superstar Sho Fuwa. Kyoko was so deeply in love with Sho that she followed him to the city on his quest to become a famous singer. But she soon realizes Sho was only using her as his personal maid to take care of household chores and pay for rent. Heart-broken, Kyoko won't suffer in silence--she's going to get her sweet revenge by beating Sho in show biz!
This is still ongoing...which is good because I love it but also bad because I want to find out what happens!! My all time favorite, and I read every chapter that has been coming out sooo slowly along with the last 5 chapters every time it comes out. Yea...And I've read it over 10 times since the first time I've seen it.
